Browse subjects and versions
- Choose Schema Registry → Schemas.
- Select a subject from the paginated list.
- Review its compatibility mode and versions, newest first.
- Select a version to see Schema Details, including version, schema ID and type.
The current subject list has no search field. Use page sizes 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Use Text and Graph views

Compare schema versions
- Use Compare versions within a subject, or Schema Registry → Compare for independent subjects.
- Choose the left and right versions.
- Review changed, side-only and unchanged lines.
- Inspect defaults, unions, enum symbols, namespaces and references, not only highlighted line count.
- Optionally select Ask AI to explain after reviewing the context sent.
Validate a proposed schema
- Select Validate proposal from the subject version view.
- Edit or paste a candidate up to 1 MiB.
- Select Validate compatibility.
- Review Compatible or Not compatible and Registry-supplied messages.
Validation checks against the subject's latest version using the Registry's configured policy. It does not register the proposal or prove semantic compatibility.
