First-party product documentation. Instructions are verified against the dFlow~IQ desktop implementation. Labels appear exactly as they do in the application where practical.
Change privacy controls
- Open Settings → Privacy & telemetry.
- Enable or disable Product analytics independently.
- Enable or disable Crash and error reporting independently.
- Changes take effect immediately.
Analytics retention is shown as 12 months and error-report retention as 30 days. Disabling a choice immediately blocks new submissions.
Choose an appearance
- Midnight (default), Graphite and Paper.
- Ocean, Forest and Sunset.
- Violet, Cobalt, Rose and Sand.
Select a preview, then Save appearance to apply it throughout the application.
Set the memory limit
- Open Settings → Runtime & storage.
- Set Memory limit (MiB) between 512 and the device-specific upper bound.
- Select Apply and restart.
The default is 2,048 MiB. A restart is required because the limit is a JVM startup option.
Move application data
- Under Runtime & storage, select Change.
- Choose a writable empty directory outside the current data directory.
- Review the destination and select Apply and restart.
- dFlow~IQ moves existing application data before restarting.
Back up ~/.dflowiq before a manual repair or storage migration. Do not edit databases while the application is running.
Review Activity Logs
- Filter by action or workspace.
- Choose All time, 7 days or 30 days.
- Inspect INFO, WARN and ERROR rows.
- Use Clear logs when local history is no longer required.
History is limited to 1,000 entries and 30 days. Payloads and passwords are excluded, but operational names and sanitised errors can appear.
